The intelligent cockpit software system architecture is reconstructed to create an AI native cockpit system.

Driven by the evolution of automotive EEAs toward central integrated architectures and advances in intelligent technologies, the intelligent cockpits of vehicles have been upgraded from the initial distributed signal-oriented cockpit system architecture to a service-oriented software system architecture.

In 2026, ThunderSoft launched the AIBOX-N1, built on NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin, boasting 200 TOPS of AI computing power, supporting real-time operation of 7B-paramter foundation models in vehicles. Equipped with ThunderSoft's self-developed AquaDrive AIOS 2.0, it natively adapts to a multi-agent scheduling framework. It has already been deployed in production vehicle models such as the Black Gold Smart Edition of Geely Galaxy M9.

In June 2026, Desay SV exhibited the EA01S+AI BOX solution, which facilitates the mass production of mainstream AI cockpits through the external AI BOX of the basic cockpit domain control platform that uses the Qualcomm QCM8838 to support basic cockpit functions, such as multimedia playback, navigation, and basic voice interaction, with a stable hardware foundation and software ecosystem. As an independent AI computing unit, AI BOX is integrated with Qualcomm QCS9075, connected to EA01S through a standardized interface, and is responsible for running edge AI foundation models and complex AI tasks.
