Global packaging volumes increased from 3.7 trillion units in 2018 to 4.1 trillion units in 2023, recording a CAGR of 2% during 2018-23. Volumes are forecast to reach 4.5 trillion units in 2028, recording a CAGR of 2.1% during 2023-28.
