Understanding Enterprise AV: Decision-Maker Perspectives |
||||||

Enterprise workplace strategy is still evolving as organisations work to balance collaboration, productivity, and employee experience in increasingly complex office environments. Hybrid working remains a major influence, but the focus has shifted: organisations are now optimising physical workspaces, expanding meeting capacity, and improving technology-enabled collaboration.
Investment priorities are moving toward meeting room modernisation, integrated collaboration systems, and AI-enabled workplace technology. What organisations want most is simple: tools that are easy to use, that streamline workflows, and that deliver a consistent experience whether participants are in the room or joining remotely.
At the same time, decision-makers are under growing pressure to balance innovation with standardisation, security, and budget discipline. Rapid change, especially around AI and collaboration platforms, is creating real opportunity, but also real uncertainty, as organisations weigh where to invest next.
Tracking how organisations are adapting their office environments, deploying collaboration technology, managing AV investment, and setting future spending priorities offers critical insight into where the enterprise AV market, and the wider workplace technology ecosystem, is headed.
This research covers five markets, including China, France, Germany, UK and USA.
Containing analysis based on more than 7,861 respondents, this report provides a strategic framework for any enterprise with interests in the personal and home audio technology markets.
Enterprise workplace strategy continues to evolve, and hybrid working remains a major influence on how it takes shape. Today, 52% of organisations operate a fully office-based policy, but only 23% expect that to still be the case in three years, as companies keep optimising spaces and technology for more flexible ways of working.
Office investment remains healthy. 51% of organisations have expanded their office space since January 2025, and 49% have grown meeting room capacity over the same period. Similar growth is expected over the next one to two years, a sign of continued confidence in the physical workplace.
Meeting room technology remains a key investment area. Displays are now installed in more than three-quarters of meeting rooms globally, and 58% of organisations refresh their meeting room technology every two to three years, keeping a steady replacement cycle running.
Integrated meeting room systems are becoming the enterprise standard. More than two-thirds of organisations plan to expand integrated room deployments over the next two years, and satisfaction is already high, with 85% satisfied with reliability and ease of use.
AI-enabled meeting technology is moving into the mainstream. Real-time translation, captioning, transcription and meeting summarisation are the most widely deployed AI applications, and 66% of organisations now see AI capability as an important factor when evaluating new AV solutions.
Looking ahead, enterprise AV investment will increasingly be shaped by AI integration, hybrid collaboration needs, security compliance and workplace modernisation, sustaining opportunities across meeting rooms, collaboration tools and managed AV services.
